Featured Restaurant : Wankers Corner - a Wilsonville Legacy The original Wanker's Corner Saloon Cafe was opened shortly after the repeal of prohibition, in 1933. It shared space with a grocery store, about six miles North of the current location. The head Wanker kept collecting more and more antiques, junk, knickknacks, Americana, Australiana, movie posters, and many unidentifiable objects, that the space became too crowded, and a move to a larger building was inevitable. The Portland suburb of Wilsonville was selected for its charm, beauty, fast growing population and the fact it is located close to a freeway so our customers who come from far and wide can easily find us. Every Friday and Saturday night there is a deejay dance to rock & roll music of the 50's - 90's, starting at 9:30. The place is packed by 7pm, so get there early so you don't have to wait in line. A $2 cover charge begins at 7pm, with half the cover going to the Oregon Food Bank. More than $90,000 has been raised in the past few years. Click on the title above to view their web site.
